Just For You Box Campaign Collection
This campaign is centered on curating uplifting gift boxes for women in our community. The boxes will then be distributed throughout the month of March. International Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide to honor the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women across the world. The day also serves as a focal point for women’s rights and a call to action to advance women’s equality.
Senior Independence Workshop
This workshop is to offer services to senior citizens to increase independence and provide resources to enable them to be interactive within their community and receive assistance.
Each service provider will give a 20-minute presentation discussing the services offered. Q&A opportunity will be available prior to closing out the presentation.

YWCA Westmoreland County is hosting for local area Women Veterans a Galentine's Day Get-Together.
Join us for connection, coffee, camaraderie, cookies, conversation, and crafts as we honor and celebrate the women who have sacrificed for our country.
We are pleased to have Dorey Stabile representing Women Veterans Health Outreach with VA Pittsburgh at this gathering.

Grab your besties and join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity and laughs at our Galentine's Painting Class! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just here for the fun, it's all about celebrating friendship and letting your creativity shine.

Proceeds from this event go to empower women and eliminate racism, as we must meet our community where they are most vulnerable and provide the compassion and services that place them on a path to self-sufficiency and prosperity.

Pay-It-Forward Chili Challenge
Join Feeding the Spirit and YWCA Westmoreland County as we partner to offer a friendly chili cook-off fundraiser. Local restaurants will bring their famous chili to share with the community. After tasting each chili, participants will have the chance to select their top 3 winners. The final winners will be recognized at the event. Proceeds benefit Feeding the Spirit and YWCA Westmoreland County.
Shop Secure - A Cybersecurity Event
The YWCA Westmoreland is proud to partner with S&T Bank to offer this valuable cybersecurity event. This will focus on staying safe while shopping online.
Community Day Martin Luther King Jr. Day Open House
During the celebration, YWCA staff will be present with cards stating “Unity Is” for community members to sign. In recognition of the National Day of Healing, please write down your thoughts about what unity means to you. This is a time to for all community members to openly discuss the ways in which racism has harmed them in pursuit of restoring wholeness and cultivating trust. The National Day of Racial Healing is a call for communities to imagine a world free of racism and discrimination and determine changes that must be made to active racial equality. Thoughts will be posted in the YWCA Founder’s Room until the end of Black History Month (February 28, 2025).
